| SetUp Requirements |
The first thing that is needed is two 6 or 8 foot standard banquet
tables individually skirted. This will allow us to place the tables as needed.
The tables must be directly off the dance floor with access to two 120 volt standard
outlets for power. |
| Seating Considerations |
It is a good idea to seat older people further from the dance floor and
sound system. Younger people can be seated closer with the exception of small
children. |
| Pouring Toast Drink |
Should be poured for the head table before the bridal party arrives by
someone from the catering staff. |
| Bridal Party Arrival |
Someone from the catering staff or someone from the family should alert
the Disc Jockey to the arrival of the bridal party |
| Eating Arrangements |
As the DJ will be at the reception hall approximately an hour or two
before guests arrive and will be at the reception hall an hour or two after guests leave a
meal for the DJ and Photographer should be offered. The DJ and Photographers meal
should be served at the same time as the head table because they will need to finish in
ample time to do their job while others finish their meal. Please, no
sandwiches. |
| Events After Dinner |
The DJ will coordinate time scheduling with the photographer to best
utilize his or her time before the photographer's timetable expires. |
| Dancing Ideas |
It recommended that the Bride and Groom become involved in the dancing
throughout the wedding party dance and first open dance to your guests. This encourages
everyone to get involved. |
| Family Pictures |
To avoid your guests becoming bored NO family pictures should be taken
after dinner. This should be done after the cutting of the cake and other wedding
reception procedures are completed and the floor is open to your guests. |
| Room Lighting |
Have someone coordinate with the to assist in lowering lights and
raising them during initial procedures. |
| Sound Level Management |
We make every effort to assure that the sound level is
at an appropriate level, however, if the volume from the sound system is too soft
or loud, have someone alert us immediately. |
| Retaining the DJ longer |
If you find that you would like the entertainment to
continue past the original contract time, you may do so by alerting the Disc Jockey one
half hour before the end of the original contract time. |
